Gay is personally invited to attend on the evening of the 27th September the exclusive Private View of The Turner Prize 2019.
She will be writing a post here afterwards of her experience of this special event and dates of her Exhibitions.
Gay has found in her experience that Sculpture, Engineering and Architecture often crossover such as in The Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao by Frank O. Gehry. This lead her to take the creative ideas from her sculptures and Art to pursue study in Architecture, completing a BA (Hons) Architectural interior Design and onto a Masters MA 3D Design.
Has worked with an Architect at Blampied & Partners Ltd, on altering an Historically listed building in Mayfair, London and on the Royal London Free Hospital's re-modelled entrance.
Completed Designs for a church and an Art Gallery. The church also involved Fundamental Christian religious architectural positioning and arrangements. The Art Gallery also involved extensive specialized research and understanding of Curatorial and Access aspects. Also the Artist to curator to architect crossover of views.
Gay has been part of the focus group and consultancy into the six forms of Access for the Tate Britain London, reviewed and altered their Access Standards and Guidance document 2004.
Also engaged in a Consultancy roll for Sir John Soames Museum London and also English Heritage.
These included Architectural, Curatorial, Disabled access, Plans, Signage and Way finding.
